As a budding cartoonist, I place a lot of importance on creating interesting characters. Part of this is the ability to make the characters LOOK interesting, especially the face. The last thing I want is for my faces to blend together and become indistinguishable from one another, so I created this challenge for myself and for anyone else who wishes to test their mettle as a character designer.

As the title implies, I will be creating 100 cartoon faces in an effort to flex my creative muscles, using these guidelines:

1. There must be 50 male faces and 50 female faces.

2. Each face must be clearly unique and distinguishable from all the others.

3. The faces can be any race or age.

4. Each face must show some semblance of personality.

5. They must all be HUMAN faces!

I will be submitting the pages of faces to my gallery as I finish them. I expect this exercise will greatly help my ability to create visually unique and aesthetically pleasing characters.

As a final note, I hereby challenge any cartoonists reading this to try my chalenge for themselves (though if you prefer anthro to human drawings, feel free to disregard rule #5. that one is more of a guideline for myself).

Wish me luck, and the best of luck to you! ^_^

Sound like a useful challenge, I might try it myself!
